Petunia

A new name I got,
A rose I am not,
Nor a lily or anything hot,
Just a plain old petunia,
Received it I did from an old snot...

Hope she doesn't see this...;)

Poem Artwork

Petunia…

A petunia I do smell like now,

Not a rose, not a lily of the field,

But a petunia from a box hermetically sealed,

And sent through the mail on the back of a sow…

Called a petunia by a certain personage,

Not withstanding I won’t relate her age,

But if I were to tell you, she is a Viking lady of wisdom & sage,

Would that give away who she was and what we were on, page?

A cute name I got now,

Even if it were as above delivered on a sow,

Rufuz seems to love my new smell, no more does he growl,

Thanks to you all for the donations of soap,

I sent them over to the Salvation army, I am no dope,

How would I have used 10,000 bars?

Stacked on one another they seemed to reach to the stars…

Never fear, Petun.. oops.. I mean, Ed! hehe... she'll never see this. I take it, then, you don't need my contribution of all this Ivory soap, eh? This was a lovely, flowery verse. katy xox.

Petunia's are a lovely flower, not overscented, just about right I think, most colourful and invigorating to the senses.

I plan on planting some in the rockery this spring, Lovely flowers they are, you should be proud to be equated with them ED, most comely LOL.
