A rooster that crows in the dark…
I hear him at four,
I hear him at five,
What the hell is this jive,
When does his new watch arrive…?
Every thirty seconds does he crow,
Is he making known his personal woe?
Or is there some reason he is all aglow?
Or does he have a hangover feeling kinda low?
If he does not close his beak,
A bruise he will find on his cheek,
For if he awakens me one more time,
I am going to bury him in lime,
So deep that out he won’t be able to climb…

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in tx., karen lynn. :D
frankly, i don't mind the rooster's crow; i think it is one of the most effective ways to wake up in the morning! i may not hear my alarm clock, but boy, i sure can hear the roosters crow! LOL
(I'm waiting for repercussions from the other Ed, now)...
but...you silence the rooster's crow the 'natural' way...
put his cleaned little body in the frige...and go back
to sleep for the day...dreaming about that dinner of southern
friend chicken.
(I'm trying to picture Ed Kostro hugging a chicken...hmmmmm...
maybe he can).
Now get up, go outside, find him, and give him a big thanks and a hug for a job well done.
