Secretary of ImagiNATION… Hired was I by Katy, If elected she did tell me so, Running she is on my party ticket, The Might As Well Party, party, Better get out and vote real quicket… So I may make a few million a week, Way too much, can I just take a bit less? Maybe only a few hundred grand, With the rest we can feed the hungry, wouldn’t that be grand…? No more would there be street people, Families living on the street would be a thing of the past, Plenty of housing available on old military bases, They would have jobs policing themselves, Cleaning up their new homes, no more court cases… So if you want a clean cut imagiNATION, Be sure to vote for Katy, she will run our nation, Like the Vikings, not the football team that just lost to the Eagles, But the real Vikings that visited our land a thousand years ago, They must be the ones that brought to us the dogs named beagles… ` © ed ~ 9/21/04

A poem fit for a ... hmmm... em... for a what? (giggle) In the midst of your shenanigans here, you've warmed my heart and made me proud to name you my Sec'y of Imagination: taking that money, which DOES exist, to feed the hungry and house the poor. Sigh... from your head to my heart, dear Eddie M. THAT's American! Consider it a 'done deal'! (If only, eh?) Thanks... Ed, although I have been extremely busy lately, I have continued to read all of your marvelous creations since I’ve joined AD. I have enjoyed reading them and have found that you do have remarkable poetic talent, style and grace.
