Hope this does not ruin my chances at becoming the first doggy president...rufuz (lets keep this between just us, okay?)

Poem Artwork

                              Doggy addiction…

EXPOSE of an addiction by the dog trying to be president…

News flash, time/now, date/a minute from now …

His addiction is nothing to balk about,

It has really driven him wacky; he wants to start drinking stout,

If we could not rid him of his last addiction,

How are we to stop his addiction to the drink?

No, we must keep him away from the stout,

Better to drain the blood out of a trout,

A little food coloring & we have a new taste in booze,

Or we will slip him a Mickey causing him to just take a snooze…

Oh dear goodness, should we say?

Should we tell what poor Rufuz is addicted too?

Oh well why not, yes what the hay,

His addiction is a strange one to pups,

He loves to drink French vanilla cappuccino out of cups…

But if Rufuz gets too much caffeine, that pup'll be too piped to poop.

hahahahaha - very, very funny! (No accounting for taste, though, imo - French Vanilla is only fit for ice cream, imo!)

This is a cute doggy poem Ed. Thanks for the comment on "Hands Across The Water." Took eight hours of my work and Tinka's help to write it. But when I write something that could it is worth the effort. I am teaching Tinkas to change horses in mid stream. Yes is a rapid learner and I was lucky to find her genius afloat and work at AD. Not much of that around Ed. Keep smilling old partner. Right?

Ha! Oh, how you love the drama, the build-up... the suspense! My eyes are flying, and still another verse before I get to the climax! Sigh... You teaser, Ed. LOL... but, then.... ahhhhhhhh... there it is, that 'closure' that final revelation... Thanks. I fell right off my chair! hehehe... Am I overdoing it here? hard up for a good laugh? (always) BUT... no... I thought this was absolutely hilarious.. and clever. I sure did. Drink up! katy xox.

Now he sounds like a Yuppy Republican, and I thought he was a Puppy Independent.

I better not let my two mutts read this; man, are they gonna be disappointed. And I sure hope the Animal Press doesn't get wind of this.
