Where oh where did my little turkey go…?

Awoke to squawking,

Gobbling all round the house,

The cat did find the turkey,

The turkey did find a mouse,

All three were running in circles,

My house a royal mess,

I didn’t know turkeys couldn’t fly,

But the cat did I guess…

The mouse now food to fulfill the cats appetite,

No longer will I have to worry about sharing our dinner,

But now I cannot find my little female turkey, I now need to “skinner”,

If I do not find my turkey my family will know I am not a winner…

No longer are we having turkey,

Frozen, I have, chicken & beef,

I am in a state of disbelief,

Where could my turkey have disappeared too?

Maybe if I do turn on this lamp,

I will have more light to find my turkey,

Usually am I at cooking a turkey, the champ,

This year though I would be better to leave and go to camp…
