Poem Artwork

You’ll never guess the things you can make with Lego’s…

I built myself a new home,

Now in my Lego home I can roam,

She does not have much in the way of chrome,

Maybe next we go and visit the city of Rome…

A bit too small to ford a river,

She may wash away and float,

Next time I will build me a houseboat,

You can build one too, so don’t just sit there and gloat…

My tires a bit bumpy,

My satellite dish does stay up,

The seats just a bit lumpy,

The owner just a bit grumpy,

The motor does run, but only just a bit, yup…

Easy to see why I love this home so much,

I did build it with my own two little hands and such,

Inside it even does have a cabinet type hutch,

More than the old one I did have, but I will keep that just in case,

I will use it especially when I need it, yes in a negative clutch…

HA! I love when you turn your clever, creative mind into words that draw pictures most of us hadn't even thought of! Then, there's the matter of how you manage to do that DAILY, it seems.

In Hartford, near Roger, is some sort of Lego Headquarters and they could use a mind like yours, I'd think. Keep on a-truckin', Eddie M... you are one-of-a-kind! katy xox.

Ed!!! Is there no end to your talents?? Not only can you write, but now you tell us you are an engineer too! I am in awe!

Do you know if that Lego set came with a houseboat? I might be in the market for one. LOL

Funny, enjoyable and as ever, uniquely you!

This is cute, Ed. I have to admit when I saw the title I was bracing myself for just about anything and was releived to find the truck. I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving and are recovering well from all the overeating.
Take care,
Sherry

I remember several years ago walking through a mall that had lego displays that were absolutely amazing. I see you are as creative with your hand as you are with your pen. Thanks for the sharing.
