Called an Old Man…
I was recently called an old man,
By another older man that should be buried in the sand,
He is a funny sort, or is that a sot?
No actually I really think he is more of a snot…
But here in this world of ours, we do love him all the same,
His poetry and short stories and articles are never lame,
His love of animals is known world wide,
Never am I trying to be here in anyway snide…
Because I do love him as well,
Well maybe not love; maybe just heavy like,
Even though he does drive a Ford,
And picks on my Jeep, he never makes me bored…
