You put it up and I will put it down…

Okay ladies, I get the idea,

When I am through in the loo,

I should put down the lid,

Just in case you got diarrhea…

Can’t take that extra second,

To drop the lid down,

Instead you got to me beckon,

To scream and rant with a great big frown…

If I put it down, will you put it back up?

Maybe better yet I should go in a cup,

Does that suit you; I bet it would, yup?

Maybe I should just go outside like the pup…?

This problem will not occur in the future,

No longer will men need after fighting with you a suture,

The toilets of the future will shape themselves,

To the bottoms that are using it each time,

Toilet tissue will be never ending and located on the shelves…

Hmmmm... let's see... do I thank you for this dubious "tribute" me darlin'... LOL. You're a pip, you are! BUT... you have actually brought before me an issue of fairness and I am, if nothing else, a fighter for what's fair. In a household with both genders, perhaps I could entertain the idea of leaving the seat up for 'ther next guy'... but I fear, after eons of women complaining about this issue, we'll STILL never get you guys to PUT IT DOWN. hehe...

Ok, Eddie M, my sweet, lovely friend: Imagine this: you're a woman, ok? you awake in the dark, stagger to the toilet, and SIT down on freezing porcelain, your entire, dainty tush immersed in very cold water. Take a moment to imagine that. There, NOW we can talk! (grin) katy xox.

The best answer, is why don't you sit too? That would not only eliminate the up/down argument, but it would keep the splash back off the wall and floor. Ohhh, you say that might get your manhood wet..dream on bucko!! LOL
Take care,
Sherry

The best answer is ... just remove the lid all together. Then what could we argue about?
