Death of a Snowman…

Surely he did die,

He didn’t melt, he didn’t cry,

Stuck with sticks of varying length,

Bled out he did, lost all his strength…

Even snowmen have enemies,

Their lives so short, one enemy the sun,

Could not kill the man made of snow,

Not with the usual use of a gun…

He did succumb,

To the suns warming rays,

His arms were found in the position raised,

He was apparently killed by another snowy chum…

Murder does occur, even in the snowman culture,

Even they do have in their society vultures,

He did try so very hard to avoid this death,

That day he did take his final breath…
