Okay, I admit it; I have got a gambling problem…

I just can’t help it,

Those little dice are so cute,

And the ball on the roulette table is so round,

All the noises and all the people making all that sound,

It does turn me on, I cannot understand it, I am quite confounded,

Those one-armed bandit things are where on the weekends I am with chains bounded…

My paycheck does end up staying at the casino,

Glad am I do not have to feed a little bambino,

I have yet to try it, but I do hear what is fun is keno,

Glad as well am I that I do not live too close to Reno…

But my biggest problem I do have with gambling,

The one that I do herein have to admit too,

The one that has got me all the time for money scrambling,

Is that I cannot ever win, ain’t that just a sin?

I wouldn’t have any problems whatsoever if just once I could win…

Ed,

For me, it's the damn scratch offs. Dreaming of a win...and pissing at myself when I blow my extra (non bill) money on those damn things...thank God, I pay my bills first. It would be nice to win a big amount just ONCE!!!!!!!!!!!

I hear you, I understand...

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Have you tried Gambler's Anonymous? I haven't, but I may look into it...and Smoker's Anonymous and Fat Anonymous...LOL

That is one addiction I've managed to stay away from... ah, what were once habits, somehow become our vices...

Sigh, at the risk of incurring your wrath, EM, I seldom go but I always seem to win... good thing the nearest casino is an hour away. I never think of it but when I DO go, I get nuts! Jaysus, 'katy, bar the door' as my old H.S. history teacher used to say. (grin) Ah, well... it's fun (em, sort of.. hehe). katy xox

If people could beat the odds on a consistant basis, we would have no Casinos. Being excessive about anything can get us into trouble, Ed, as I am sure you already know. I am not a big gambler, but if I go to Las Vegas, I do intend to spend some of my time (and all of my alotted money)gambling. It is always fun to win, but it is also fun to enjoy the excitement of just playing.
Take care,
Sherry

i've decided that the next time i go to the casino, i'm going to walk in and hand some loser my money, so that it makes someone happy cause it sure ain't me...i have never really won anything at the casinos

you can win Ed. Just hope you maintain until you do. Every now and then I go to the casino. The noise and excitement is fun. last time I went I won. But the many times I've lost I hate to say. G

Ed - I suggest that you're playing the wrong game. Gambling was invented and perfected by those who never started the game until they knew WHO was going to WIN ! (This is a loose translation of, "A sucker is born every minute, etc. etc.")
