Humorous philosophy I might venture to put forthe...

Poem Artwork

Dead is Ed's Head…

He died sticking his head,

Up his butt to avoid the world,

Found in there a whole new feeling,

Now he can do little but be reeling,

No longer though can he reach the ceiling…

He does not have to see the terror,

He does not have to experience horror,

He doesn’t see anymore the pain of life,

Now that he is stuck in there he wonders if made an error…?

No more does he have to listen to the right,

No longer does he have to hear anything from the left,

All he does now experience is gurgling and stink,

Though of the world he did believe of this anyway, yes he did think,

No more does he have to with others fight,

He can go about his business, who cares if anyone stares,

The biggest problem he does experience now though is being unable to sit in chairs…

Rhyme okay, but try not to go beyond 10 0r 11 syllables per line. Other than this, the poem has no meaning for me, not even the humor, sorry.

Ed,

He has cranialrectitus, eh? LOL (I think that's the term)

Anyway, entertaining write--keep your head outta there!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :)

Well, there are many ways of "avoiding" reality; you seem to have found an original one. It is good you can keep your sense of humor amidst all the madness. Love and peace to you. Regis

I wonder if you, Eddie M, might actually be the quintessential poet's poet... EVERYTHING inspires you! You see a poem everywhere. The pic is hilarious but don't think for a minute that I missed the message in this, as well. "no more does he have to listen..." Well done.

"Now that he is stuck in there he wonders if made an error…?"

This is a perfect example of something you do with effective abandon: Ahem... UNDERSTATE. (grin) I really enjoyed your wanderings in this. katy xox
