How does one train a daddy?

Is it true you can't teach old daddies new tricks?

Poem Artwork

Daddy is in my Doghouse…by Rufuz

I told him what kind of car to buy,

I told him what type and why,

I need windows to stick my head out,

Instead he just did my desires flout…

He is like a pup,

He never does listen,

Everything he does botch up,

His parents when they did him christen,

Should have named him screw up…

Hey dad, read my snout,

I have tried my best not to shout,

But you try my nerves,

In the future you say you will change,

Of that I must admit I sincerely do doubt…

Keep trying I must,

Maybe his brain is just filled with dust,

Maybe those gears are just getting old with rust,

Sometimes I do get so hot, I am afraid I will, quite honestly, combust…!

Try to you must, oh valiant Rufuz, but I fear training old Dads like yours is a much more difficult task than training dogs. You might need a very powerful suction hose to get all of that darn dust out of his brain - and I know how hard you tried to get him to buy that Explorer!!!
