The Valdez a man-made disaster,

Was this a plan from our heavenly master?

He must own stock just as does your local pastor,

Prices for crude went up since then faster & faster…

That gas makes my engine have gas,

It spits and sputters and knocks,

Cut with water it must be, alas,

Best to send this stuff back to the factory…

I remember Esso, seemed it was better back then,

Maybe they should change their name back,

Buying gas nowadays is like playing in a gamblers den,

Buy as little as possible, making the prices fall,

Hopefully then we can all send upwards a great big amen…
