Let loose the flood gates…

Is it a message from God?

Did the almighty get insulted?

Or is ole’ mom Nature cleaning?

Or did someone think I needed a shower…? J

Whichever way it came, NJ is being inundated,

Light rain, moderate rain, and now heavy rain,

I even took out soap when I went for a walk,

Hope the neighbors understand and don’t talk…J

Saving water I started at my head,

Worked my way to my feet, though it was cold,

I bet you think that I was herein altogether bold,

Yes those neighbors may balk,

But by tomorrow, to them, I will smell like a rose…(stalk) J

We have had little rain; we supposedly have here a deficit,

Maybe in reality or not, the angels all had at once to spit,

But if I sink in the mud underneath my home,

I will and you can surely bet, sue the gods and file it most legit…
