Poem Artwork

The Matterhorn not much above,

I fly higher usually than a dove,

Am I high now, that is your decision,

Writing for me a labor of love…

Higher I do fly,

I know not the reason why,

Wish instead I still did drink the rye,

Less expensive and more legal,

Is the reason for this seasonal why…

Okay so I am flaky,

My legs and back mostly achy,

Can’t when buzzing walk str8,

Mostly then I am completely shaky…

I am on the frequent higher plan,

Ever since I was young and began,

For the most part I maybe a poor man,

Still I do spend my hard earned bucks,

On what keeps me flying in the seats most deluxe…

You are a consumate poet that's the reason you fly higher. What else would have given you reason to fly than the beauty of words that you coin now and then. Your wings are the poetry that gives you great power to ride the winds of the muse.
Write some more, my friend.
