...here we go again...

Poem Artwork

Here I sit,

My muse did take a s**t,

Fell out of me and down the drain,

Could write about the stink,

But for your sake I do refrain…J

The dog as well is all thought out,

What to write, what to do or just about,

All day was he on the leash & out,

Thought for sure his muse would have no drought…L

Yes I am writing herein and maybe quite swell,

Can’t seem to think of anything that will not smell,

From my innards I cannot find anything else to expel,

No matter what, I got to let go,

And on my lack of muse not dwell…J

I suppose we all can relate but I suffer the arrogance of thinking I truly share your pain. Loved this! A toast to you with whatever used to be in the glass. You should put this to music - it could be the new author's anthem.

I'm not amused though I'm laughing;-) You always pick this topic that is least poetic, when your muse takes a break! Don't you think it gets tired from your writing so many poems in one day? Cut back to one a day for awhile;-) (thanks for the invite woof woof;-)

Ed,

Maybe your Muse and mine went on a date. Mine's not very creative right now....hope we both get back into the swing of things soon.

(((HUGS)))) and love, Karla.
