Poem Artwork

This dream I have where I am falling,

To someone for help also I am calling,

Ignored and forgotten I seem to be,

Falling into the pit where life is not free…

No parachute do I have for myself to save,

Seems to someone else that item I gave,

Floating past me on wings of silk,

They laugh and tell me to drink more milk…

Only another thousand or so feet,

Then I will be just so much meat,

The vultures are already circling,

Maybe before I do hit the ground,

The devil I can somehow cheat…

Poor dear, that is a scary image and scary imagination. But, if you can't manage to cheat the devil...Eileen's den will definitly be the answer!

I agree with Eileen. Go immediately to her den. If she can get hold of you, you'll never see the gates of hell. I'm praying.

I hope you can cheat that nasty old devil, Little Brother, and maybe the compassionate winged Jersey Devil can swoop down and catch you before you hit bottom - I'll give him a call - Hang On!
