He said there is nothing bad with an occasional burp,

Better that from a dog than something like a chirp,

After all I am a dog, not a swallow or any old bird,

Daddy also taught me to turn around and smell my own turd…J

 

Dad also said that to fart was to compliment the cook,

I don’t know how that would be as when I do everyone doesn’t look,

I try to be like daddy, creating silent & as he says deadlies,

I want to be all told like daddy and will do so by hook or crook…J

I burrow in the dirt,

I get dirty and gross,

Daddy does the same,

When he works on the yard,

He tells me not to have any shame…J

 

I lift my leg wherever I choose,

I lay down in the cool grass and take a snooze,

Dad did teach me all this neat stuff,

When I do it he does laugh and never is he gruff…J
