Off to school they go,

To help them to otherwise grow,

You have done the best you could,

On them your knowledge you did bestow…

 

Home from school,

Not a word, must not have been cool,

Their teacher did call to complain,

Who taught your kids to drive a crane…?

 

The principal is as well sort of ticked,

Your kids do act like a paroled convict,

No fear they have of being punished,

From that school the school board may of them evict…

 

They are just being kids, you say,

They with the others are just doing play,

Give me a break, they are not going astray,

Maybe its your teaching staff that is in disarray…

 

They suggest home schooling,

You think, are they nuts, they are just fooling,

The nights with your kids are hard enough,

To have them all day as well, that would be downright grueling,

Love them still you do, since they were so young as to be drooling…
