I wander in from work as usual late,

This though for me is my fate,

I like to work the second shift,

Sleeping in late for me is a wonderful gift…J

Five hours of Saturday overtime,

Showered first to wash off the grime,

From cutting the lawn & spending many a dime,

Wish sometimes I had the job of a lowly mime…J

Want to get a buzz,

But it feels so late, it really does,

Want to vacuum as well all of the dogs fuzz,

Oh what the hell, I still got tomorrow to clean the rugz…J
