...an attempt at humor...though it is not funny on this end...LOL!

Poem Artwork

Deviled eggs, yummy,

Apparently not so good for my tummy,

Sometimes I wonder if I still need my mummy,

Hope you will find this attempt at humor funny…J

Most say the eggs do give ya farts,

Mine react on me like eating bad tarts,

They come back on me almost from the start,

Had a bunch left, no longer, threw them away,

I knew you would tell me to do it anyway…J

All this gas over a couple of eggs,

Probably not, must be the onions,

I like them so much, but just another food I can’t eat,

Better actually, as it does not bother me, stick to well cooked meat…J

They do indeed give me farts that would compete with a Great Dane. Gotta love um though. A good time though to bring out the matches and have fart burning party.

Rufus would approve. I'm sure he'd even want to compete.

You got me rollin on this one Ed. Atta-boy to the lovable Rufoid.

A fun poem, Ed -- although I prefer to call the farts "barking spiders" (wink).
Again, a fun read!

This is humorous Ed,
although I bet it wasn't too funny after the fumes started.
Had your own personal rhythm going on did you?

take it easy,

This is very serious - The Jersey Devil cannot eat Deviled Eggs??!!

Wow. Next time, try washing them down with deviled prune juice - that might balance things out.

They do the same thing to me, Ed. I had food poisoning once (salmonella) and ever since, eggs have not been something my body accepts very well. Though I don't love eggs, I do love deviled eggs, egg salad sandwiches and custards, but I really can't eat them anymore. I do feel your pain, my friend!
Take care,
Sherry
