Humor or Nature or a little of both...e

Poem Artwork

No longer will we wear short sleeves,

Light jackets are hung up, told to leave,

I can’t sit around in my undies, not no more,

Say they do the windchill will be around four…

The water hose insulated and heated,

Rufuz will be happy, so far regards winter he has felt cheated,

Can’t leave the windows and doors open for a breeze,

The upcoming weather is where comes to us the sneeze…

The heater will be overtime working,

Old man winter has been just around the corner lurking,

This time tomorrow no longer will it be sixty-four,

Even old Mom Nature is looking our way and smirking…

We got a cold snap down here too. The mountains are full of snow. Some places are down to 17 degrees at night, and believe me, for SoCal that is something else.

Hope you and Rufus stay warm and healthy. And yeah don't be chilling in your underware, that could start a riot dude.

Ed,

The cold came from the Northwest; I'm waaaaaaaaay Southwest of you. I didn't dood it!! LOL Sorry 'bout that...I was beginning to wonder if y'all wanted to share your cold with us poor Southerners, who are shivering in our boots! 'Bout 28 degrees out there, with scattered snow furries. BRRRRRRRRR! I ain't USED to this no more!! LOL

Stay warm, and keep thinking WARMTH! Summer will be here before you (I) know it.......and then we'll WISH it were cold!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Better yet, curl up on the couch with Rufuz *wOOfers* He'll keep you warm. :)

I can’t sit around in my undies, not no more,

Sure you can, Brother - don't be such a wimp. Go outside in your undies, and sit down on the frozen ground, and read a good book!!

Well, our chill has finally made it to the East Coast, Ed. That will teach you to poke fun at those poor people in Colorado!...LOL Stay warm and I am sure Rufuz will love rolling and playing in the snow.
Take care,
Sherry

In Kentucky our warm days are pretty much over too! Yesterday it was 64 degrees today the high is only supposed to be 33 degrees, it's been a roller coaster ride...never know how to dress when you leave the house! Great write!

"This time tomorrow no longer will it be sixty-four,"

64 here at present (11:45pm)
and would not trade it for nothing.
Going to get a little cool for a couple of days
but then back up we go...glad you like the cold weather sir.
Stay warm...."I can’t sit around in my undies, not no more,"
and for goodness sake...put on some clothes...LOL
