Scott Zachary writes off and on for the den and published a book awhile back, but he still needs to do something with his time, hence this poem...ed

 

On this den is a writer,

Who took this job as a bottle,

Of Corona extra with lime,

Into this suit he must in the morning climb…

 

He may not drink anymore,

But let me tell you, he knows the score,

Found religion did he, at the local church store,

But ya gotta eat, with this job he is done at four…

 

He bounces around the local bars,

Of being knocked down he has the scars,

Mostly on his rump, but still he sees stars,

Not able to see behind him, he has to watch out for cars…

 

Scott does need a job that keeps him busy,

This one is right for him as mostly he is quite dizzy,

If home on time he does not get,

His lady gets all upset, that’s right she gets all in a tizzy…J
