Did you see it follow me,

Right up the beach onto the shore,

Its out to get me I really am quite sure,

But I got feet to run away with, altogether four…J

 

Only once did I let it get me,

It broke over me, got me all wet,

Daddy was less than happy, but still he laughed,

He said some fisherman will come along and throw over me a net…J

 

I love to chase the gulls,

Never does it ever get dull,

But when daddy does call,

I always run right back to him,

Well almost always, though sometimes I stall…J

 

I love the beach,

Daddy says it gets him out of reach,

Though from who I cannot imagine,

I am right there and I am all he needs,

As long as he brings the food for me that to me he feeds…J
