Gonna be getting into the single digits for temps the next several nights & the days not much higher, but Rufuz & I will muddle along, we got each other for warmth...Ed & Rufuz

Poem Artwork

Plastic over windows,

Blankets on inside,

Sealed we are against the cold,

I am told I feel it cause I’m gettin’ old…

Walls of plastic,

Like a big Tonka toy,

I feel living in it a little boy,

Always dreamed of it,

I gotta admit to it, I cannot be coy…

Heaters we got three,

Propane, and electric two,

Being cold is nothing really new,

Better than living in a box on the street,

Some would think my arrangements to be kinda neat…J

I am told I feel it cause I’m gettin’ old…

You have been told right, Brother, and each winter - you will feel it a little more. And please be careful with all that plastic around. I still remember what you did with plastic as a child.

But who cares as long as you're both stay warm
By the way Ed, I am Up here too
Frezzing my butt off in the Catskills
Have not seen my beautiful sunshine state
since mid December, lucky my grandsons
Are doing all the shoveling, I just supervise
With a hot cup of coco
Stay warm buddy....Hugs to Rufuz.
Peace

Glad you & Rufuz don't have a lot
of junk, collectibles, etc, or
you wouldn't have room.
Rufuz got his bone

It is my dream to buy a motor home and spend my life on the road. I did it for about 14 months once and it was great and only made me want to be able to live like that for the rest of my days. Sooo with the freedom, also comes the vulnerability to the elements, but I guess if you want the rainbow, there is little sense in cursing the rain. I hope you and Rufuz stay warm, Ed.
Take care,
Sherry

It is cozy, warm and neat to say the least. I'm relieved that you are toasting marshmallows . Rufuz has the fur coat. He's the lucky dog!
Love,
Susan

My late brother, George, lived in a converted ambulance. No mortgage, rates or land lease limits to worry about. A swine though when it rained hard - battered off the roof, and when it snowed heavy - well, not much fun stuck on the A9 near Inverness. Still, he loved it all the same.
A good memory jogger this, Ed.
