Never Anger a Porcupine...

Oh that REALLY smarts...

Owwww, that’s gotta hurt,


This dog did with the porcupine flirt,


Not sure a skunk is better, then you get the squirt,


Bet ya from now on he will be on the alert…


 


Can’t even tell the dog is a pit bull,


Can’t over his eyes pull any wool,


Off to the vet to have those needles pulled,


Of them little animals in the woods, he has had his full…


 


Did not show this to the dog,


You know he would just crouch down in terror,


Knowing that this poor pup did make a terrible error,


He should be glad if for nothing else he is not a terrier…J

Ouch! Looks painful!!1 Yeah, I would rather flirt with the skunk too, I don't like pain! Stink I can stand...enjoyed the write!

Wow...just the thought of it hurts! That poor dog!
I'd take the skunk's spray in a heartbeat, and then soak in tomatoe juice, thankful it wasn't a porcupine!
This is funny in one way and heartfelt in another...

Porcupines are truly a force to be reckoned with, and to answer your question, I'd rather face a skunk spray than porcupine barbs any day. And I truly hope that dog was OK.

Oooooooooo ... that DOES smart!!! When a bald porcupine comes waddling past, you KNOW there's a problem on his back-trail. I do hope that poor pit bull came through this without losing his eyesight. Awesome story, Ed.

I envy your talent for composing Ed. And I like your humor...Did this dog really meet a porcupine? I know that's a silly question but I've never seen a porcupine and you probably did it with toothpicks. If it's real I am amazed.
