Came to me by way of snail mail,

Sent from one so sweet, and her hubby bard,

Tis’ a duck to you who might have thought him a quail…

A doggy of questionable heritage did accompany him,

But the doggy in his almost tie-die coat opted to stay in the car,

Guess its cooler there & cleaner than his ex-masters Ford,

Personally after living with that bard, I would have opted for a bar…

So to my collection of bathtub duckies I do this guy add,

Sharing he is my tub with my fishies called shad,

I have since a wee young man, collected these, yes I was once a lad,

Though his blue suit does clash with my fishies, they always wear plaid…J
