Driving in Princeton...

To live in Princeton you gotta be rich,

No sales jobs at the mall, or digging a ditch,

They all do drive expensive cars,

And expect of their children to in school be stars…

I do drive through the Ivy League college area daily,

And would be surprised to see a Chevy or junky Ford car,

They only drive, and not very well I might add,

Range Rovers, Jags, & Bimmers, with a sprinkling of Caddy’s,

The only instruments played are of the classical variety,

Never will be heard or even thought of a ukulele…

They all need to learn a bit of patience,

They blow their horns to us “lower” folks,

The kind that have to work for a living, so we can take tokes,

I sit at home and eat macaroni and cheese,

And imagine them all learning their experiences,

While in their posh classrooms & on their knees…J

I can attest to the fact that the peanut butter and jelly side of the street is good for me. The nice thing about my oldsmibubble is that its paid for...those yuppie are up to their eyeballs in debt. Good write.

Thanks,
Dan

Sad: it's the poor slobs like us who provide the means for them to step all over us...envious? Not me, I would like to have more, but not if it means trodding over those who earn a living, honestly. They forget, they were there, once...unless they were born into money, then nevermind. :) A sad sharing, Ed, well penned.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. *howdy Rufuz*

Snob lane huh! Yeah, there's one in every town, but hey, we can thumb our noses, it wont do us any good, but it's better than playing dumb.
I know this coz we live in a nice house, that we dont own, it's govt housing, in a very very middle class area!!
Neighbours suffer us....MEH who cares.
The house dont maketh the man.
Take it easy there Ed n Rufuz.
Love chezza

Envy? I don't think so.
Why is that, that telling about the truth of others faults seems to be the fault of the teller?
