...humorish, I hope...

Poem Artwork

They live, er, uh, die, I mean exist all around,

To heaven are they eventually bound,

Or from hell did they make they’re break,

They must be here for our sanities to take…

That movement out of the corner of your eye,

Swear you could there was something just went by,

Seen it more than once,

Feeling a lot like the village dunce…

Not alone are you,

They do creep around on the edge of reality,

Making us doubt our own sanity,

Your mind a jumble of gumbo and stew…J

Well done Ed...they are there its just that we often fail to truly see them for what they are. If you could by chance put on a pair of glasses that would allow you to see into the next real...you would truly be frightened by what you see....there is a darkness there like no man can imagine and the really scary part is that its eternal...good thoughts on this one Sir.

I've never seen a ghost, so that must mean that they exist. Creeping around on the edge of reality. Great line!!

Hi Buddy,

"your" is to "you're"
as "their" is to "they're"

Oh my my!

"your" and "their" are possessive, and you still don't own your own pee wee.

Your best prick(ly) friend,

Scott

That movement out of the corner of your eye,

Seen it more than once Ed, and along with it goes the feeling that it was really something..or is that something real?
Oh well..what ever.....good job on this one.

Actions of good ghosts might bring a smile to your face.

Actions of displaced, unhappy ghosts create much fright.

Know both type of ghosts from others who have them in their on-going life.

We had a ghost in our big old house growing up, Mr. Trowbridge was his name. I believe he just didn't know how to get to the other side.
Maybe he was an atheist and was forced to linger until he realized what he needed to do, in order to knock on heavens door?
Personally, I am not afraid of them, I just think their in need of a prayer...

Ed,

The only Ghost I believe in is Holy. :) That being said, there are straaaaaaaaaaaange things going on 'round the world. Unexplained. 'You have entered...the Twilight Zone.' LOL I don't think there are such things as ghosts because once you are dead, that's it: no haunting, no coming back for second chances...still and all, a chilling, thought provoking write you've scared up this morning for me to read. :)

(((HUGS))) and love to you AND Rufuz *goodboys*, Karla.
