Poem Artwork

To bed he goes at four,

Ostensibly only a nap for,

He does awake at eleven,

Sitting am I by the door,

Holding my bladder, praying to heaven…

Dad then feels kinda upset,

He knows he has to take me out,

He tries to rush without fret,

The first tree I come upon,

Drowned in pee, I hope it can swim like a swan…

I still have to give dad a high five,

Cause no matter the hour he does try,

He gets me out for a short walk,

While out he does to mommy talk,

He is okay afterwards if that conversation he does survive…J

Rufuz, I always thought that you were from the wolf branch of the canine tree, so, why not howl the jeebeezes out of Daddy when that hydrant voice start to calling you outside?
Be well and don't lick yourself too much.

Rufuz, you still gotta love that old
Dad of yours. He is not as hairy as you
and doens't pee on a tree like you, but
you just have to tolerate him Rufuz.
