Tis’ sunny but just a bit cool Still Rufuz wants to the beach to go Too chase the gulls And swim in the great big pool… Walking with dad, enjoying the breeze Too the beach we will go before they charge fee’s Rufuz asked saying so nicely please I couldn’t say no, he must be tiring of the trees… Thirty some miles, just a hop, skip and jump Sitting on a jetty on our rumps Of late we have both been in a slump A long walk on the beach to shed some of this plump…J © ed & Rufuz J 3/29/08

Love the beach myself and wish had dog to go to beach and lived near. How fortunate you and family are to be able to go to beach and relax and wade in waves. Will eventually get there this summer, and your poem is great. Photo too.

this is cute, but with so much truth, I wish Mi, were warm enough to go to the beach, but we still quite a ways to go. I don't care for swimming but to wade along the shoreline, now that would be cool to be able to do, however a river bank with a fishing pole, that is what I am waiting for this winter to go away for. thanks for the share.

A long walk on the beach...good for Rufus...and you, too, Ed! 'Tis the cool breeze that cleanses and stirs your blood! Same weather here, only cloudy, and a reprieve of 85 deg of a few days ago. Now, don't you feel better?
