Poem Artwork

For snow, sleet & cold weather

I do ultimately yearn

Its where I am most happy

This much I have of myself learned

The summer warmth does of me

From the inside out burn

Though outside in the air I’d rather be

The inside air conditioning is where daddy

Does for himself yearn

Though he does try to live without

By late day the A/C is turned on

The time I want to come in

Is if or when a thunderstorm of the sky

Starts to churn…J

RUF - tell daddy to get you a li'l swimmin pool to cool off in, and keep it in the SHADE! Might find a good, small, inexpensive one at a "Thrift" shop...HeeHee, might find a yellow-rubber-duckie there, too!
I'm with YOU, Ruf, boy...druther have the cold than the heat.

Don't tell yer Dad, but you can come up to the great northland Canadian wilderness compound yer beloved Uncle Pee Wee is working on. He knows that you'd chip in to help, Rufie Boy! And, there's tons of snow and cold in the winter, and the summers are nice and cool.

Rufuz, it is so expensive to run the Air Condition all day. And besides maybe your master gets too cold with it on and at night has you to warm him and covers to put on. When we get older we mind the cold more. Be a little more considerate with Daddy. You are a cute dog though, love your photo.

SOMEWHERE IN THE SHADE,
THAT'S WHERE IT SHOULD BE LAID -
A NICE, SHALLOW WADING POOL,
THAT'S FOR RUFUZ TO GET COOL!

THEN COME INSIDE AND SHARE IT WITH DADDY,
SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE - HE'LL SAY - TADDY!

Come to the desert, you'll always want to be in the air conditioning! As for snow, what's that?
Loved it.

So must we all I suspect in a time like this.
I like you in snow, Rufuz. China would probably
run from it. She has never seen snow.
