Poem Artwork

I don’t wanna kill em’,

I just wanna scare em’,

Let them live in the wood,

Where they do belong,

Their smell to themselves,

I wish keep they would…

We seem to have a great deal,

This year more than our share,

I can’t even put Rufuz outside,

That’s where they’re at,

Right out there…

I thought they were nocturnal,

I know their stink is eternal,

There must be a way to rid them,

I just can’t kill em’, its against Zen…

Maybe if I skip a bath,

For a few days or a week,

They would dislike my stink,

Enough to stay from us away,

Other than that I know not what to do,

I surely don’t want Rufuz or I,

To meet with their odiferous wrath…

Well it just so happens Freaky Fee's Spa, Bathhouse and Crematorium is going to be having a special on my new mobile De-stinking Busyness, for a nominal fee (not Fee) I can have a truck there with our giant pressurized steam cleaners and hot liquid lye soap that will have you smelling rosy sweet in not time at all...Rufuz too.

Man, are you in luck, Bro! We just happen to be looking for someone to head up the East Coast Division of 'Save America's Skunks.' If you can bond with a few of them, I'm sure I can get you named East Coast Director. And hell, you don't like bathing anyway. Keep me posted on your progress.

Are you sure sure sure that you have a skunk? Mom said that she can smell you way out from her house even with the wind going the wrong direction (and that's a lot of miles) so please, take a bath before Rufuz come live with me, the one in the family that bathes everyday...well...almost.

PS: PeeWee stinks too, that Turbo dog ain't take a bad since he was born.

Poor Rufuz, that would not be good for him and you have to shower so you can go to work so that won't help. They say "Shake Away Animal Repellent" is a sure cure, wouldn't hurt to check it out.

Newfie hugs, Rose

You'll put your eye out, you'll put your eye out ... whoops. "A Christmas Story" came to mind ... oh, yuck, skunks. Maybe a call to an animal protective league? Maybe they have an idea. If they're coming out in the day, they may be rabid: best to stay indoors. Hope your stinky problem goes away soon. (Any news on the job? Still in my prayers!)

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Oh poor you, poor Rufuz, a nasty old skunk you have. Pootinky...invest instead of strawberries, invest in tomato juice. but you might have the right idea, no bath for a week, they'll leave. Love your funny, enjoyable write. Love, Bonnie
