Farewell Cruel World...

Poem Artwork

Goodbye cruel world,

The snow is melting,

I gotta do the right thing,

On my head the droplets are pelting…

Oh I certainly did enjoy the little hands that built me,

Throwing snowballs at me as target gave them glee,

Dogs did as well on me, well, er, uh pee,

But did I mind, no way, my cause to be here the key…

I can feel the sun warming,

Few winged creatures are as well swarming,

Rain, not snow, storms are now forming,

How long will I exist before I melt,

Better to end it all before death to me is dealt…

Ed, that snow man should know better than to hang around
South Jersey, where the temp is so confused it doesn't know
when to rise or fall, or vice versa. -gene.

Ed, this is such a good photo and writing... poor little guy...but he did bring joy for awhile didn't he? Soon he'll be nothing but a puddle of water.... and you my friend will be running off to the beach to jump into a huge puddle of water...to sun and swim and drive the girls wild... hehe... hugs, lindalaw

Wwell I was thinking of taking out the hose but it could make things a bit slippery around here, I'll have to pray that Mother Natures lets her sun shine and her rain fall. Thank you for sharing Ed.

Newfie hugs, Rose

You are melting me away in tears also, nobody ever wants to go, but we are not going anywhere any of us, we are just changing, you to smoke, and him to water, and the carrot in someones tummy like Ed said.
In any case my condolences, unless you wants to ship him up here, we'll have at least another six month of this white shit, you down there in the tropics wouldn't understand. Blessings! Jasmin Horst

I love it...but to tell you the truth, if we don't soon get some warmer weather in my neck of the woods I am going to revert to murder...now where did I PUT THE MATCHES AND GAS.

So Long, Frosty! I told you that Pawxetawny Phil was wrong about six more weeks of winter; you should have stocked up on some dry ice.

But you can feel a tad better knowing that some poor hungry critter will soon be feasting on your carrot nose!
