Sandblasted...

Poem Artwork

The wind was in the 40 mile an hour range,

The ocean waves were breaking to the east, quite strange,

The wind would not allow them to touch the shore,

Should have hit the beach earlier than four…

The beach got its usual cleaning,

Rufuz & I picked up the trash, now its gleaming,

No more plastic, or aluminum to clutter it up,

Even found a bent, with oriental lettering, drinking cup…

And now my brothers can’t bitch,

I got well cleaned, & left only with a little itch,

No soap or water this time, only sandblasting,

It felt so good I might go back again,

I’d especially recommend it to Georg,

Its great for getting the wrinkles out,

And in comparison to bathing,

It is quite a great deal longer lasting…

I remember one time having been stung so badly I bled and had tiny
cuts all over my legs. Of course I was a kid and stayed out in it too long...But I lived by the ocean then and loved it when it stormed
but the wind can be too nasty at times. Love the poem and pic you make me want to go to the beach. Hope to do so next week...ET
