Not an original thought, but kind of funny so...

Poem Artwork

She told me that my BP was high,

My cholesterol as well was on the fly,

Weight I had gained & I didn’t know why,

She told me I should eat better, don’t anymore fry…

I should eat, she said in colors,

I really am not sure what she means,

So I ate the above, my interior cleaned,

Chocolate is brown inside them, & I like the blue ones…

Might as well be happy while I slowly die,

Eating things with the munchies while I am high,

I particularly love good Philly cheesesteaks,

They make my stomach boil & I can hear my arteries harden,

Hope I didn’t make you all hungry, if I did, I beg your pardon…

Down around Galveston's docks in Texas they serve an humongous T-bone steak with all the trims delicious enough to compel your heart to quit! if it doesn't...you can have another one.
Now, blood pressure? I bet you 230/160 and doc's funny electronic B.P. machine going berserk.

If good humor leads to good health, Ed, you should be feeling
better tonight. Now you've put me in the mood for one of those
Philly cheesesteaks, though I wouldn't turn down an Italian sub.

Very good Ed. I asked my doctor where most people who follow their doctor's advice and eat right end up dying. He said in the hospital or in a nursing home. I told him, "OK then. At least when I get in either of those two places, I'll have a reason for being their."
