Surely miss some of the stuff I could then do,

Never feeling what now has gotten old, this feeling blue,

So thin was I then, wish what I know now, then I knew,

Would love to be myself like then, or of the now in lieu…

To have now those wonderful bits of pleasure I remember from then,

Feeling all the time happy, not stress free or worrying about death or when,

Not knowing how bad the world does now look,

Would have been nice then, to know about consequences & Zen…

To learn how to save, to learn how to trust,

Not being as old as I am now, my body turning to rust,

But to go through again, puberty,

To have to fight my way again to gain my liberty,

To go through high school again, no way not I,

Better to jump from a plane with no chute & learn to fly,

Better to go back and stay at about 11, a time I remember to a small degree…

When I might have been 11 only the numbers 1-10 had been invented.

Those were the days. But we must do today what we can do... like travel and write.

Ah yes, Ed. Such carefree days and full of hope they were. Seems like yesterday really. Thank you. Love and peace to you,

No way Jose
But still don't wish your life away
Memories good memories bad
They're the only one you ever had
