Brother Ed was born of a monkey…

Poem Artwork

Yes, he was born and grew into a monkey,

We were once rich, but spent it all on a doctors fee,

Spent on all sort of plastic surgery…

Poor Mr. Ed was a chimp,

Now he is only a chump,

Grass he used to eat by the clump,

Still though, as we couldn’t break the habit,

He does squat in the grass to take a dump…

Hair all over he has of a great deal,

He should have been born instead of a seal,

Then he could be as slippery as he is an eel,

Maybe in reality he is just so much surreal…

"and after I've been so nice to you lately"

He was so nice to me lately because he hasn't been around, all the time playing in the woods swinging from tree to tree like he's always been at heart, a monkey...

Oh my he was a very unattractive chimp. The surgeon has done a remarkable job. I guess the grass tickles his butt. Patrick

You Devil, You, and after I've been so nice to you lately. Dear old Ma just called me, crying her little heart out. She said you had vowed to never, ever talk about the time that she was kidnapped and taken to the Planet of the Apes, where I was born. Shame on You.

Ma is so upset now, she says I can now break my promise to her, and I can talk about the time she was held captive in the Pine Barrens by an ancient diabolical reptilian demon known as Jersey Devil Senior. We all know which of her sons soon hatched after that, don't we Junior.

PS: I like squatting in the grass to take a dump, and I always will.

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
