Hangin’ out in the Fridge…

There I was hangin’ with the ice cubes,

They must have thought me a regular rube,

The veggies were stuck up, they didn’t talk,

And the fruit just treated me altogether quite rude…

I tried to blend in,

But the milk pushed me off the shelf,

The luncheon meat didn’t want to lower itself,

There was however this one soda that seemed nice,

But didn’t stay all that very long,

One minute he was right there, the next gone…

The butter was quite cold,

The bread acted as if it were rolled,

The frozen dinners didn’t even like each other,

And the fish sticks only liked one another…

The bottled water stuck to its own,

And the orange juice acted like this were its home,

So I had to stick to myself & wait to be cooked,

I knew today was trouble right from the moment I got hooked…

I can't believe that the lunch meat didn't want to hang around a genuine ham. Patrick

Very inventive, Ed. You did it up right. I especially liked, "The frozen dinners didn’t even like each other,"
