Ah, the sweet memories of youth...

Poem Artwork

A great place to screw, my dear,

No body else there to fear,

Just the ocean sounds, the air clear,

To keep us mellow, bring a six pack of beer…

A place to when young play,

Over the beach by the ocean, not the bay,

Can’t see the clouds, though they may be gray,

Only feeling there, the ocean’s spray…

Oh but to smell the salt,

Mixed with a bit the beers malt,

Of mother ocean do I exalt,

Why is it that cops always scream halt…J

Glad you've got good memories, i've got good memories of ocean visits with my parents, my former hubby, and some friends from school n all.
Oh that i may go back Under the Boardwalk again in my old age. Care to join me?

Giggle...I guess when we're young we're invincible...we don't always consider the consequences of our actions...but then that's youth!

“Oh when the sun beats down and burns the tar up on the roof
And your shoes get so hot, you wish your tired feet were fire-proof
Under the boardwalk, down by the sea, yeah
On a blanket with my baby is where I'll be

(Under the boardwalk)
Out of the sun
(Under the boardwalk)
We'll be havin' some fun
(Under the boardwalk)
People walking above
(Under the boardwalk)
We'll be making love
Under the boardwalk, boardwalk”

Sorry, got carried away and started singing…

You better be careful, Bro. They like to arrest dirty old men lurking about under piers these days.

I remember many childhood and teen summers hanging around under the ocean piers. Good fun!

Love ya!
