Poem Artwork

I love the sound of birds,

But in a few words,

They start their song quite early,

Then wake me feeling quite surly…

They get started at about five,

At that time I am barely even alive,

Then when I re-awake at ten,

That is the time they stop singing when…

I “can” block them out with my machine for sound,

Ocean waves make them seem not around,

Or when it does rain, loud it is on my roof,

I wish I had a magic wand, could rid myself of them,

With one wave of the wand, POOF…J

oops - Sorry, Ed. I'm up at 4 AM as it's my duty to wake up the birds. They're on a schedule ya know. ;-)

I hear them also when I put my two hearing aids on and it is so sweet.

Now, you really don't want to get rid of birds, do you?
