Ain’t got no upper teef,

Cain’t spell very well t’nite,

No chewin’ so pablum on the menu,

Applesauce, ice cream & oatmeal,

You should have my tongue,

And in my mouth, the stitches, feel…

My upper lip feels like it’s been assaulted,

My upper inside doesn’t feel too bad,

My lower teethies are still there, by default,

The surgeon felt to keep them will in the end make me glad…

So now how long will it take to get my new uppers,

So I can be a bit happy to eat solid suppers,

Still have a minor bit of bleeding,

Though maybe that is too much info for this reading…J
