Mid NJ didn’t fare too well in Hurricane Sandy,
Southern NJ did better, high water, just dandy,
A few people I know rode out the storm,
If it were me I would have opted, during its height, for brandy…
It is said our drivers are rude & abrasive,
Most of those unfortunately seem to be as well quite racist,
Don’t open that car door as they can as well be invasive,
Though I gotta admit that around the country,
New Jersians attitudes are becoming quite pervasive…
If you don’t like any of the above,
Stay the hell out of NJ or get the Jersey shove,
Right out of NJ, the only way we can show you our love,
Well for all intents and purposes, sort of…
I once had an a-hole chase me for 70 miles on the Jersey turnpike for moving up one car length on him at the toll booth. He looked like he was about to lapse into road rage, so I shot the SOB. :)

I got profiled on the Jersey Turnpike going to Kennedy one time. The state trooper pulled me over for having a guy from Bangladesh riding with me in the front seat instead of in the trunk tied up like he should of been. Anyway, the very astute white trooper ran up to the passenger side and started interrogating the doctoral student I was taking to pick up his wife coming from London. That trooper was not interested in me, the driver, or whether I was carrying marijuana. I guess we were out looking for America and found it on the Jersey Turnpike.
It's not just New Jersey. You see road rage everywhere. I saw a video on youtube about road rage, people actually got out of their cars and beat each other on the road. Sorry state of beings. Must have been the chemical in the food we eat nowadays, or perhaps the different kinds side effects of the experimental new drugs that people are taking. It's not like it used to be anymore, people are being more abrasive and violent these days, and want to fight violence with violence. Too sad!! Best thing to do is to just stay away from people like that for you'll never know when they'll pounce on you.
Sadly, more and more aggression amongst people seems to be the way of the world in general. Irrational behaviour, abrasive interaction and outright malice is becoming commonplace.
