...not necessarily humor but I couldn't find any other category that does fit...

I certainly don’t, One day I may write of Nature, The next I may have a memory, The next day I may write of horror, And the next maybe a poem of humor… Does it come to us in a dream, Or maybe in a nightmare, Or did we find it within when driving down the road, Or perhaps when lying on a beach soaking up rays, Or is it when we stop to buy some ice cream… Do we find our muse when we are in pain, Or when we are walking and it starts to rain, I seem to find some when smoking the herb, Sometimes even when I find myself tripping up a curb, At the very least, whenever or wherever we come in contact with the muse, It seems to me to help me get some sleep, or even just a short snooze… © me – 7/18/14

You are a man of many genres! I think you eclectically pick a topic out of the air (or a dream), like I do and then write. Simple as that.

Me neither. I just write what's on my mind, though sometimes my pen does not follow what I think once it gets started, and it would write something that people may, or may not understand. LOL!!!!!
