I'm not as scary as the books and stories would make u think...

Poem Artwork

I keep them quite altogether neat,
I find food for animals when goes away the summer heat,
I watch & smell for errant fires, left burning by campers,
I especially watch out for little children lost wearing pampers…

My form may be quite to some scary,
My face very equine, I have a long tail, and my body hairy,
My demeanor quite coarse, my voice very hoarse,
The Natural laws I do here in my forest enforce…

I enjoy to of families scare,
Between you, me and the bears,
I like to catch a human peeing in the creek,
My scream does make them really swear,
For the rest of their stay, they take out what they bring,
Though by the creek they do a lot leave their bling,
I mean for us woodland creatures it is only fair,
And as the Devil of the Pines I do thank you for being woods aware…

New Jersey's so boring with its governor and all, it needs to have something to create a little excitement. And a good exposé is all it needs to drag it out of the slump it's in.

I find the Devil of the Pines to be the protector of them, other woodland creatures, and the little children.............he may be ugly but I think he has a kind heart.

Love ya!

Hyland is a hoot! Some roosters lay eggs. It's not much of a sex life, but who's watching? Oh yes, your Devil rhymer is for real. Great advice.

The devil went down to the pines,
he was looking for souls to scare.
So if you're in the woods,
take care and beware.

Ornithological question:

will it roll off North, South, East, or West?
