Don't get old, it isn't what its cracked up to be...
Since 2009 and the discovery of my diabetes,
I have had all manner of illnesses,
Gall bladder removed,
Heart repaired,
And now my kidneys are inefficient,
To the point of my needing, eventually dialysis,
No longer is my body even the least bit self-sufficient…
No, I am not whining again, well maybe a little,
Just I am getting a bit old and becoming quite brittle,
My legs do spasm so that I cannot sleep,
My head pounds, I wish it were from wine cheap…

Spasms, pain and sufferings, the inequalities professing themselves again, and sheep are shaved and shorn, finally put out to pasture to die. Good news is that you are here to spit in the face of death. Modern medicine is a miracle when you can afford it it is another. This verse you write is full of might, and I wish you the best in your fight, the cure is not out of sight, just going for the highest price. We all gradually come apart at the seams. I feel your pain, especially the leg spasms that kept me up last night from sleep for two hours. At least I don't have sugar dissolving my essential organs.
I'm not going to give you advice as to what to do except to say that there may be ways you can alleviate that pain. You are much too young to be going through it.

I hear you loud and clear, Ed. I, also have old age problems, but nothing as severe as you have had to bear. I now it i difficult, but even when you say you are "whining just a little" you come of strong. Please Ed, stay strong.

I have helped support a few surgeons but nothing as bad as you have experienced. Old age for some is not what it cracked up to be.
