Eventually I will get to burst...:)

Poem Artwork

 Feeling like getting sick,

Grumbles from my stomach confirm it,

I ate way too much for dinner last night,

And trust me, for a change the food wasn’t light!

A delicious all American hoagie,

Of which I only ate half and saved the rest,

Then I tried something new, seafood salad,

That was likely the richest part of the meal,

Then washed it down with sweet peppers,

What can I say I had a craving?

Earlier this combination presented an appeal,

But not so much hence, my tummy feels quite tense!

What the hell was I thinking,

It’s all coming back on me in loud burps,

I could knock out a wall & my eyes are blinking,

Not much longer will I last, before the flow will be cast,

It’s been quite sometime since last I felt so altogether trashed,

Perhaps just give it up, move on and allow it all to, en masse,

Come dragging itself forward to the inevitable upward clash.

Gastronomically intense and painfully aware of your pain. The only thing now is to let it out like you have with this poem.

So good to see that you are eating well, but perhaps, enjoying it less. Bon appetite!

Unfortunately as we get older our eyes see food and we still eat it much as we had when we were much younger. However, this crap is rejected by the seasoned but more sensitive digestive track. So we vomit and reject it physically while our brains still tell us how great it tasted when we were much younger. SHIT!

Oh, what we put our digestive tracts through!! Feel better, Ed!!

Love ya!
