Our Old Hippie Mobile…

Her name is Rainbow Zen,

She has traveled west, north and south,

East would be kinda wet,

She has carried all I care about,

And that is a sure bet.

Not a discouraging word,

Was, in any place, heard,

Regards her peace signs & stickers,

Folks would gather round the rear,

To read all the stickers more clear,

As while driving, it might be kinda near.

Raised peace signs, “OK” symbols,

And generally all kinds of positive statements,

The old girl has gotten in her travels,

I had worried just a bit if local officers might,

See her as an eyesore and pull us over, day & night,

But no, in fact, they were just as positive,

Explaining when we talked,

How they felt like others,

That the statement made with the old girl,

Was in these times politically correct,

          And right…
