" I can hear the sea calling
Rocking in its waters I wash my tears "
Stepping into waters further into sea
Not at the shore but from the steamer long you go
First time i the expanse of the deep blue sea to see
With open sky above and water all around
And the care of the world not mine to be
For a moment I was gripped with fright
No one I knew or cared for me in sight
But gathered the strength to jump the height
Found my space in the sea I so much loved
Rocking from side to side I remained
Like in a cradle in the sea
Pitching in a place so peaceful and calm
Stroked to stay afloat awhile
Rose up with the rising waves
Played in its mighty folds
Happily ebbed up and down
Snorkled in the wonderful world beneath
Rising with a splash now once again
It worked up my spirit and felt the highs
Like a child who won his first race in school
Patted myself with pride and smiled
Light and divine like the birds in air
Circling in the sea along the tides
So many of us in numbers moved
Like big orange red beetles in milkweed green
The evening Sun flashed its rays
Sparkling white crystal in waters blue
Hiding in smoky white clouds it eyed
Traversing the sky it lurked on
Shining colour fish ,orange, green and lined
Charged in, bright and glowing, the haul
Below the surface the dancing fish
Jived to the sound of waters clear
Some gentle shimmering moves and shakes
And to quickly dart inside
Lying on the sublime sea what more I see
Gently rocking side to side
Cuddled in the lap of the tide
In bright red floats afloat
Seek to lift my soul
Enjoying this wonderful feel
The heart flutters with joy all the more
A lively spread of this bountiful glare
Miles and miles to stretch on
Surrendering humbly to its strength
Transcend for a while and now how I hear
The gentle murmur of the sea so near
To be in waters so sparkling clear
Then to watch the amazing Sun go down
At the exotic Phi Phi island I waited
For the mesmerising colours of a tropical sunset
With its richer and rosier hues
