Take a look around you, notice any faults? The mighty dominate the earth. The media a powerful brainwashing system. Most educational systems wittingly enslave many. The church of today has become the devil's arena. Many maladies manufactured in the laboratory, their motto is reducing the population. Aliens are real - kidding me right? Keep the tax coming people and let's build the world right? The Olympics are here, hate to say this but why so many demonic signs? You got the voice of an angel but truth is you ain't going far. You were born an actor but your talent ain't just enough. You were born to rule but not in a million years. They say the only way to become worldly very influential, your soul to the devil must be sold. The words of Solomon son of David echo in my ears that, in much wisdom is sorrow. Take a look around friend. Don't you think we are mostly puppets trapped in this paradise? I don't blame you if you think not, someday your eyes will be open - hopefully.

The puppet masters of always been in control. It is only now, through the Internet, that we are quickly finding out the extent. The latest move is to restrict the Internet.

Perhaps the biggest brainwashing is commercials from major corporations that literally shape our lives and move us into dangerous areas in the name of convenience and laziness.

yes, we are all puppets. But, we are artists, we swim against tides of conformity. the media, all of them, especially the news are giving us half truths. very insightful poem.

Well described, the poem has a sound of doom in it. This is the truth about the world. That's why I rather live in my own, little, world. Let the mighty be mighty, I don't mind. I am not better than them. The real King of this world didn't have a stone to put his head on. I am grateful for what I have. My eyes are open to what you describe, don't get me wrong, but I don't expect anything from this world you so accurately penned down. My happiness comes from a different place, and that, my dear fellow poet, is wisdom. Sorry for the long comment, don't mean to lecture you, just speaking my own. Daniel.

Hell yes, we are puppets. The great unwashed in this once great nation has given in to the food stamp bandwagon, and are lapping up whatever Washington tells them to lap up. We are a nation with so many reasons to hate our history. They do not teach what is important in school for the most part, just whatever is politically correct.
